On April 5, recently, at Vung Tau Sports Center, Ba Ria – Vung Tau House Development JSC (HODECO) officially launched the Sports Festival to Celebrate the 35th Anniversary of the Establishment (1990-2025). 

The event was not only an opportunity for HODECO’s staff to look back on the company's proud journey of development, but also a chance to strengthen the bonds within the HODECO “family.” It served as a healthy and dynamic sports playground—bringing together and fostering connections among customers and partners in the broader HODECO community.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy General Director of HODECO and Head of Organizing Committee, Mr. Doan Huu Ha Vinh emphasized, “This is not only merely a sporting event, but also a demonstration of persistence, the strong continuation for 35 years of Sustainable Growth of HODECO. This is also an occasion for us to express our heartfelt gratitude to our valued partners, customers, and local authorities for their companionship throughout HODECO’s journey”.

Mr. Doan Huu Ha Vinh, Deputy General Director of HODECO and Head of the Organizing Committee, delivered a speech at the opening ceremony.

Kicking off this year’s Sports Festival was the HODECO Families Tennis Championship 2025, which attracted enthusiastic participation from athletes representing various departments of the company, as well as close partners and invited guests. With a passionate, competitive spirit, the tournament unfolded with excitement and intensity from the very first moments.

After a day of exciting competition, the Organizing Committee awarded 3 first prizes, 3 second prizes, and 6 third prizes across the three event categories: Mixed Doubles, Men’s Doubles 1250, and Men’s Doubles 1300, detailed as follows:

Mixed Doubles:

First prize was awarded to the athlete pair Nguyen Thanh Danh & Mai Thu Dung (HODECO & guest)

Second prize was awarded to the athlete pair Nguyen Trung Thao & Tran Bich Phuong (HODECO & guest)

Third prize was awarded to the athlete pair Phan Truong Giang & Mai Thi Tuyet Lan (HODECO), the athlete pair Nguyen Doan Hanh & Bui Thi Thuy Van (HODECO & guest)

Men’s Double 1250: 

First prize was awarded to the athlete pair Huynh Ngoc Khoa & Pham Tu (DIC group)

Second prize was awarded to the athlete pair Nguyen Trung Van & Nguyen Dinh Trong Du (ACB Bank – Vung Tau area)

Third prize was awarded to the athlete pair Phan Truong Giang & Atilla Erda and the athlete pair Nguyen Dinh Duy & Nguyen Tri Dung.

Men’s Double 1300: 

First prize was awarded to the athlete pair Phan Truong Giang & Le Quang Vinh (HODECO)

Second prize was awarded to the athlete pair Nguyen Vu Ha & Tran Duc Manh (The management board of investment construction project)

Third prize was awarded to athlete pair Vu Dang Dung & Thai Van Ly (Department of Construction of Ba Ria – Vung Tau province) and athlete pair Nguyen Xuan Thanh & Bui Ngoc Hai (People’s Committee of Ward 7, Vung Tau city) The Sports Festival celebrating the 35th anniversary of HODECO’s establishment is one of the key events within the series of activities commemorating this milestone. After the tennis tournament, various other sports such as football, golf, Chinese chess, billiards, soccer, and pickleball will be held sequentially, continuing to bring an exciting and meaningful atmosphere to all employees and staff.
