During the time Vung Tau City implemented the social distancing measures under Prime Minister's Directive 16 (July 14, 2021 - August 2, 2021), Ba Ria - Vung Tau House Development Joint Stock Company has continuously developed the activities for the community, joined hands to repel Covid with the message "SHARE LOVE-OVERCOME THE PANDEMIC".

When Vung Tau city entered the period of social distancing, witnessing the increasing number of Covid 19 cases day by day, the frontline forces worked hard all days and nights to "fight" the epidemic, the lives of the poor people are harder and harder, HODECO - as one of the leading enterprises of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province in the field of real estate - construction quickly carried out many activities to support and join hands with the community to prevent and overcome the pandemic.

HODECO's leadership donated test kits and masks to Vung Tau City

On July 21, 2021, the leadership of HODECO had a meeting to donate   a set of 2,500 test kits and 20,000 N95 masks with a total value of more than VND 500 million to the Vung Tau city government. Also on July 21, 2021, the Executive Committee of Youth Union and HODECO Trade Union cooperated with Ba Ria - Vung Tau Provincial Youth Union to implement the program "Love Kitchen", providing 3000 free meals during the distancing for individuals and households in difficult conditions in the province. On July 24, 2021, HODECO donated more than 500 gifts that are essential foods to households living in Block B 199 Nam Ky Khoi Nghia Apartment, Ward 3, Vung Tau City that are blocked due to the pandemic.

In addition, HODECO also donated level 3 protective gear to Vung Tau hospital (former Le Loi hospital) with a total value of 50 million VND and supported Ba Ria hospital 50 million VND to buy medical equipment for epidemic prevention. Besides, HODECO also donated 10,000 N95 masks to wards 2, 3, 7, 8, 10, 11, 12, Thang Tam ward (Vung Tau city) for the epidemic prevention in the area.

With the activities implemented, HODECO has supported the community with a total amount of nearly 1 billion VND, with contributions that are not only practical and timely, but also contributing to spreading the spirit of solidarity with the authorities and people of Ba Ria - Vung Tau in the current period.

These are also activities that are continued for the spirit of joining hands to prevent Covid that has been carried out by HODECO since the beginning of 2020. Since March 2020, when the new Covid-19 epidemic appeared in Vietnam, HODECO and all employees have donated nearly VND 250 million to the epidemic prevention fund of the Fatherland Front of BR-VT province. Also in 2020, HODECO has donated an additional 200 million VND to Ba Ria hospital to buy medical equipment for epidemic prevention. In May 2021, responding to the call of the provincial Fatherland Front, HODECO is one of the pioneer enterprises in BR-VT province to contribute 1 billion VND to support the fund to buy vaccines against epidemics.
