At the awarding ceremony, Mr. Hoang Vu Thanh, Chairman of the People's Committee of Vung Tau City emphasized: “The joint contribution of enterprises and units over the past time has not only helped the city have more medical supplies and equipment for the epidemic prevention but also is a great encouragement for frontline forces to focus on stamping out outbreaks in the community, soon turning the city into a safe green area."

According to Mr. Doan Huu Thuan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of HODECO, this is one of the main activities in the series of programs to join hands to prevent Covid-19 implemented by HODECO during the time Vung Tau city is applying social distancing measures under Prime Minister's Directive 16. In the current stressful and complicated epidemic situation, and witnessing the best efforts of the government as well as the frontline forces to fight the epidemic in Vung Tau city, HODECO wishes to join hands to provide more resources with prompt and timely support to contribute to the fight against the epidemic. In addition to donating medical supplies to the city, HODECO also supports Le Loi Vung Tau hospital 50 million VND and Ba Ria hospital 50 million VND to buy medical equipment for epidemic prevention.
